The both races are in the Mediterranean and are 300nm long. The Mini Valencia Air 2012 will start from Marina Real Juan Carlos rounding a buoy in Palma Bay in Mallorca, passing between Ibiza and Formentera and returning to Valencia. The Mini Barcelona will start in Barcelona and round Menorca before returning to Barcelona. Both of these races are qualifiers for the 2012 Mini Transat and are immensely competitive.
I cant wait for these races to begin, it will be fantastic to be sailing solo again. Its going to be brilliant fun and and an excellent challenge.
